Vesper: move a show to a different console.
Vesper is a Mac app I built for the days the rig changes desks. It opens a show from one console, writes it onto the new console’s own blank file, and shows you what transfers and what doesn’t before you export. Coming soon to the Mac App Store.

See what transfers before you export
SUMMARY
Pick the destination desk and Vesper lists every item: what lands exactly, what gets rounded, and what can’t cross and why. Phantom power is always the first line.

No surprises at soundcheck
WHAT WON’T TRANSFER
Anything that can’t cross is listed by section, with the strip it lives on, so you can sort it out at your desk instead of during soundcheck.

Every strip, every value
INPUT CHANNELS
Names, patch, head amps, 48V, filters, EQ, dynamics and sends, each marked as it lands on the new console: exact, adjusted, or not carried.

Your layers, where you want them
LAYERS
See both surfaces the way each desk lays them out, and move a layer onto any bank before you export.

Make the mix fit the desk
BUS STRUCTURE
When the new console has fewer buses, Vesper starts from the best fit and keeps the most-used items. Change any count and see what drops.
Supported consoles

Works offline. Vesper never connects to the internet or to a console. Your show files stay on your Mac, and no data is collected.
Questions about Vesper
Does Vesper need the internet?
No. It works fully offline and never connects to a console. Your show files stay on your Mac.
Will it change my original show file?
No. Vesper reads your show and writes a new file onto the destination console’s own factory blank.
What doesn’t transfer?
It depends on the two consoles. Before you export, Vesper lists everything that can’t cross and why. Effect settings, for example, don’t cross between brands.
When can I get it?
Vesper is coming soon, for Mac only, through the Mac App Store.
