Hi, I’m Mark.
I help churches build production teams that serve well and keep growing after I’ve gone home. I’ve spent fifteen years in live production, much of it mixing monitors along with FOH and broadcast, and seven years at Costco. Production taught me a lot about how a room should sound. Costco showed me how good teams run on clear systems and a healthy culture. MC Audio is where those two meet.

People and systems over heroics
A great Sunday shouldn’t depend on one person. I build teams and processes that hold up when someone is out, because maximum preparation creates maximum flexibility.

Develop people, not dependence
Success is your team not needing me. I do it, you watch, I teach you, I watch you, you do it, and then you teach others. Every project ends with your leaders owning the work.

Teach what lasts
People keep maybe 10 to 20 percent of a training weekend. So I focus on passion for the craft and a healthy culture, the things that keep teaching after I leave.

15 years in live production
Audio director, FOH, monitor, and broadcast engineer, project manager, and production manager on live recordings, tours, conferences, and church services.

7 years at Costco
Where I learned how large teams run on systems, standards, and culture. It shapes how I build church production teams today.

Every seat in the chain
FOH, monitors (where I’ve spent most of my time), broadcast, RF coordination, tracking, system design, integration projects, and production management. Having sat in these seats helps me train the people who sit in them now.
